Pinealon 20mg Research Peptide

Pinealon is a short synthetic tripeptide (Glu-Asp-Arg) originally derived from pineal gland extracts. It belongs to the Khavinson family of bioregulator peptides studied since the 1980s in Russian gerontology literature for cellular regulation and healthy-aging endpoints.

Purity

99.0% HPLC-tested purity with COA support.

Size

20mg Lyophilized Powder.

Storage

2–8°C (Refrigerator)

Research use

For laboratory research use only. Not for human or veterinary use.

Mechanism of action

Pinealon is small enough to cross the blood–brain barrier and is hypothesized to bind directly to DNA in promoter regions, modulating transcription of genes involved in oxidative-stress response, melatonin signaling and neuronal survival. In-vitro work shows reduced apoptosis in neurons exposed to hypoxia and amyloid stress.

Research applications

Frequently asked questions

What is the Khavinson short-peptide family?

A class of 2–4 amino acid bioregulator peptides developed at the St. Petersburg Institute of Bioregulation and Gerontology starting in the 1970s. Pinealon, Epitalon, Vilon and Testagen are all members studied for organ-specific regulatory effects.

How is Pinealon different from Epitalon?

Both come from pineal-tissue research and both cross the blood–brain barrier. Epitalon (Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly) is studied primarily for telomerase activation and circadian endpoints; Pinealon (Glu-Asp-Arg) has more neuroprotection data, particularly under hypoxic and amyloid stress conditions.

Is your Pinealon third-party tested?

Yes — every batch ships with HPLC verification at ≥99.0% purity, mass-spec identity confirmation and a batch-specific Certificate of Analysis.
