PNC-27 10mg Research Peptide

PNC-27 is a 32-amino-acid synthetic peptide built from the p53 HDM-2 binding domain (residues 12–26) fused to a penetratin membrane-residency sequence. It is one of the most extensively published anti-cancer research peptides targeting the p53/HDM-2 axis at the tumor cell membrane.

Purity

99.4% HPLC-tested purity with COA support.

Size

10mg Lyophilized Powder.

Storage

2–8°C (Refrigerator)

Research use

For laboratory research use only. Not for human or veterinary use.

Mechanism of action

PNC-27 binds HDM-2 expressed on the surface of cancer cells and inserts into the plasma membrane, forming transmembrane pore-like lesions. This triggers rapid tumor-selective necrosis independent of intracellular p53 status, while normal cells — which lack membrane HDM-2 — are reported to be spared in preclinical models.

Research applications

Frequently asked questions

How does PNC-27 work?

In published research, PNC-27 binds HDM-2 expressed on the membrane of cancer cells and forms transmembrane pore-like lesions, triggering selective tumor-cell necrosis independent of intracellular p53 mutation status.

Why is PNC-27 considered tumor-selective?

Cancer cells express HDM-2 at the cell membrane, while normal cells do not. PNC-27 docks at membrane HDM-2 and disrupts only those membranes — sparing healthy tissue in preclinical models.

Is your PNC-27 third-party tested?

Yes — every batch ships with HPLC verification at ≥99.0% purity, mass-spec identity confirmation and a batch-specific Certificate of Analysis.
