HCG 5000iu Research Peptide

Human Chorionic Gonadotropin is a glycoprotein hormone produced during pregnancy by the syncytiotrophoblast cells of the placenta. It is the same active ingredient in pharmaceutical Pregnyl, Novarel and Ovidrel.

Purity

99.3% HPLC-tested purity with COA support.

Size

5000iu Lyophilized Powder.

Storage

2-8°C (Refrigerator)

Research use

For laboratory research use only. Not for human or veterinary use.

Mechanism of action

HCG's beta-subunit closely mimics LH and binds the LH/CG receptor on Leydig cells (in males) or theca/granulosa cells (in females). The result is sustained downstream steroidogenesis — testosterone production in males, ovulation triggering in females.

Research applications

Frequently asked questions

Why is HCG used in post-cycle research?

HCG directly stimulates Leydig cells to restart testosterone production — bypassing the suppressed HPG axis. It's the fastest way to restore testicular function in published restart protocols.

Is HCG the same as 'HCG diet' drops?

No. Pharmaceutical and research HCG is an injectable glycoprotein. Homeopathic 'HCG drops' marketed for weight loss are unrelated and contain no measurable HCG.

How is HCG stored?

Lyophilized vials should be refrigerated (2-8°C). Once reconstituted, refrigerate and use within 30 days.
