HMG 75IU Research Peptide
Human Menopausal Gonadotropin is a purified preparation of FSH and LH (approximately 75 IU of each per vial) historically extracted from the urine of postmenopausal women. It is the same active ingredient in pharmaceutical Menopur and Pergonal.
Purity
99.1% HPLC-tested purity with COA support.
Size
75IU Lyophilized Powder.
Storage
2-8°C (Refrigerator)
Research use
For laboratory research use only. Not for human or veterinary use.
Mechanism of action
FSH stimulates granulosa cells (ovarian follicle development) and Sertoli cells (spermatogenesis). LH triggers ovulation and stimulates Leydig cells to produce testosterone. The 1:1 ratio in HMG makes it researched for both ovulation induction and male HPG-axis restoration following exogenous androgen use.
Research applications
- Ovulation induction research
- Male fertility and spermatogenesis recovery research
- HPG axis restart studies
- Post-cycle endogenous testosterone restoration research
- Gonadotropin pharmacology
Frequently asked questions
What's the difference between HMG and HCG?
HCG mimics LH only (Leydig cell stimulation → testosterone). HMG contains both FSH and LH 1:1, so it also drives Sertoli-cell spermatogenesis and follicle development — essential when intratesticular function needs restoration, not just testosterone.
Why are HMG and HCG often used together in restart research?
HCG mimics LH for immediate testosterone; HMG provides FSH for spermatogenesis. Combined restart protocols in published literature use both for full HPG-axis recovery after suppression.
What purity is your HMG?
≥99.1% HPLC verified with COA included on every batch.
