Selank 10mg Research Peptide
Selank is a 7-amino-acid synthetic peptide (Thr-Lys-Pro-Arg-Pro-Gly-Pro) developed by the Russian Institute of Molecular Genetics as a stable analog of the endogenous immunopeptide tuftsin.
Purity
99.4% HPLC-tested purity with COA support.
Size
10mg Lyophilized Powder.
Storage
-20°C (Freezer)
Research use
For laboratory research use only. Not for human or veterinary use.
Mechanism of action
Selank modulates GABAergic transmission, upregulates BDNF expression and influences serotonin/dopamine turnover. Unlike benzodiazepines it does not directly bind GABA-A receptors, which is why preclinical work shows anxiolytic activity without sedation, tolerance or withdrawal.
Research applications
- Anxiolytic and stress research
- GABAergic system modulation
- Cognitive performance studies
- Immunomodulation and tuftsin research
- Generalized anxiety disorder research
Frequently asked questions
How is Selank different from benzodiazepines in research?
Selank shows anxiolytic activity in preclinical models without binding GABA-A receptors directly. The result is no observed sedation, no tolerance development and no withdrawal — the main limitations of benzodiazepine research.
Can Selank be stacked with Semax?
In research literature the two are often combined because their mechanisms are complementary: Selank for anxiolytic/GABAergic effects and Semax for nootropic/dopaminergic effects.
Do you provide a COA?
Yes. Every batch ships with HPLC ≥99.4%, mass-spec confirmation and endotoxin testing on the COA.
